Burned out front parking/directional sockets

Among numerous bulb replacements, I've had to twice replace the left front parking/directional socket. Anything simple I can check on my own?

Thanks,
Pete

Re: Burned out front parking/directional sockets

Are you using dealer/GM sockets - they're expensive, but probably better quality than Autozone, etc.

I also went thru this with my 99. I found that if you go in to the socket(minus the bulb and stretched out the contacts a bit they work just fine and no more bulb problems.
