MAP sensor problems

so... think my map sensors pooched...

when the car warms up it idles up and down from 2000 to 1000 or lower.. i have a boost gauge hooked upto the map sensor currently just so i can have all the lines ran untill i can tap the manifold when i have time. but anyways... when its idleing up and down the vacum goes up and down, so i'm assuming the map sensors pooched... what do u guys think?

Re: MAP sensor problems

no check engine lights? check your ecu for codes even if you don't have a CEL...if not, then you may have a damaged vaccuum line.
if you have a CEL for the map sensor, then it could either be the sensor or a vacuum line itself...check those first.

could be your tps, iacv, iat, or pcv that would also cause that same problem as well as air in your cooling system.
