Does anyone here know where I can find some information of the production costs of the F1?

There was once a lengthy article in a UK car magazine about an accountant who joined Mclaren about half way through production to try to bring the production costs under control. This may trigger the memories of some of the more knowledgeable contributors here.

I have the article you are referring to, but I'm not sure it lists specific costs and I can't think of any other sources to pull that info from.

I'll dig through the library this evening - I think it was CAR Magazine that printed that story - and see if there are any details worthy of including here.

I think it was in Car magazine January 1997 issue. Article was called Out of the red...into the black.
