high idle

my 90 3.1 is idleing very high, if you put it in gear and drive it, it will go down to normal but jumps back up here and their.. i just replaced the throttle position sensor could it be another bad sensor ? thanks for any help

might have a bad idle air control valve, or a vacuum leak somewhere.. check all your hoses/connections

also, if the problem wasnt happening before the TPS was changed, it probably just needs to be adjusted..

on mine its pretty much screw it on and plug it in
