Hey everybody, I'm a novice at this so please have patience.
I have a paint chip in the front grille of my grand prix. I was about to use a paint chip repair kit, but the chip is so deep that the metal (black colored) is showing. Should I use a primer, and if so any specific type or brand anyone recommends? Thanks |

Re: primer?
yes, if it is down to the metal use a small dab of primer first. clean the knick with a wax and grease remover first . without the primer the paint you put on will probaly come off with the first wash. even on the plastic parts of the car use the primer.
