4.3l questions

Does a 1988 4.3l tbi z motor have the same cam as 1993 4.3l z motor?

Are the 4.3l tbi z motors from a 1500 pickup the same as the ones in the s10s?

Thanks, Cory

Re: 4.3l questions

Pretty much except on the 1500 it has slightly bigger injectors.

So an 1988 s10 z motor is the same as a 1993 s10 z motor? Why do the pickups have larger injectors for the same motor? wouldn't that cause the engine to run rich?

Re: 4.3l questions

The injectors are larger and the ecm programming is different (see flow rates).
