Mine is....

Dog Name:
Canaan Dog

Origins:
Israel. A very ancient breed. (Is it telling me I'm old)
Developed through the selective breeding of semi-wild Pariah dogs in the Middle East. (Translation I am a slut, or the dog was a slut)
Used for guarding and herding sheep and cattle in Israel. (Hell no, not in that heat I won't).
Their services were employed by messengers, Red Cross helpers and mine detectors during wars. Great just great.

Personality:
Alert, home loving and loyal to the family. True, true and true.
It distrusts strangers and will guard humans and animals entrusted in its care, standing its ground the best it can. (Get away from my woman you bastard)

TS out (guarding the sheep)

Dog Name
XOLOITZCUINTLI (XOLO)

Origins
Mexico. Also known as the Mexican Hairless Dog, this animal has to be seen to be believed. It's got no hair and looks very strange.

Personality
Calm and sturdy, these dogs make peaceful, noble and affectionate companions. Cheerful with the family but reserved with strangers. Xoloitzcuintle are natural vegetarians, but convert to a meat diet quite easily.

Poodle ... Intelligent and fun loving (you'd have to be looking like that). The standard Poodle is a real athlete, good at hunting and swimming. Happy, good-tempered, and lively, this animal is camp on four legs (and a fancy coat). The only down side is that a Poodle likes to look good and demands a serious grooming every six weeks.

Maybe we should put the Department of Agriculture in charge of immigration.
