98 Grand Caravan Sport going WACKO

Every so often upon acceleration the van skips and the speedometer goes to 120 mph then back down again. It also stays on zero for a while as the van is moving and then goes to normal. And lately every so often the van turns off and then back on again....but with no engine ..just electrical and with the oil light on. I have to restart the ignition for it to start again.....HHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPP!! ! It has 142,000 miles on it and a 3.3L engine.

Our 98 did the same thing, was the speed sensors. Changed them myself for $50. Easy to do, just remove airfilter box and you can get at them easily.
