Funny Car Illustration?

I did this for a friend who wanted an Illustration for an up-coming Drag Race in the outskirts of the Reno area.. What is an illustration vs. a drawing (vector or pencil)? Anyway, I tried to just make it simple, without a lot of detail... using a quick sketch, then Illustrator with layers, blends and text tool. CC's welcome. thx, Robo

another great piece Robo!

Your handling of the reflections on the hood is awesome!

You might want to add a slight crossing shadow to the wheel wells to help tub the rubber, but other than that I'm callin this puppy done.

Thanks, all. I am now trying to do an Indy car... actually, Danica Patrick's Honda.. She did so great, I thought I'd love to draw the car. I'm going to try and do it all in Illy and Wacom pad. Robo
