Help! Need Torque Specs Soon

Hi, I need to find the torque specs for a header on a 1G neon sohc engine asap please. Thank you, I've looked everywhere I hope someone knows.

snug them tight, then retorque them tomarrow. put a wrench on there and get it good and tight. i dont know if your going to be able to get torque specs here. if they are that necessesary for you, you can always call the service department at your local dealership. they have that in the computer

the book says 17 lb..but I'll go 19 not more than that.

17 lbs ???? inch or foot? too low to be inches. Most mopars add 1/4 turn after reaching the torque spec. to allow with the expansion of aluminum head. Also use new bolts! Better read your FSM. 17 sounds wronge to me. I check my book tonight, I never had to do a neon head (yet).

sorry I forgot ...17 Ft/lb is in the CHILTON repair manual.
