Question Distribitor Cap problems

I have noticed that the new Dist Cap and rotor are burning at the contact points inside and is not getting enought power, I just installed this cap and rotor about 2 weeks ago, I sanded the contacts and it runs better. What could be doing this?

thanks

Ira

Re: Distribitor Cap problems

could be moisture in the cap.. take it off, spray it with ether, let it dry, than put it back on..

Might work..
