How to start with a loan?

How do I start the process of taking out a loan? I have some money ready to pay a little up front, but I am wanting to take out a loan for some parts, and I have a co-signer, but i just wanted to ask some of you if there is a certain kind of loan I should take out, or how to go about doing it. If anyone has experience doing this, I would really appreciate your help on some info. Thanks.

Re: How to start with a loan?

Won't the interest be really high on a personal loan? That is probably the only way I can get a loan like that though too. I am going to check with the bank tomorrow. I am going to finish my suspension setup with the loan including the Nismo 2 way LSD, Suspension techniques sway bars, Nismo engine and tranny mounts, Nismo Power brace, and maybe Battle version rear camber arms.

Re: How to start with a loan?

Also ask about a line of credit, it could better for you.

Re: How to start with a loan?

I was also thinking of taking out a loan, maybe you guys could help. If you say take out a personal loan do you have to tell them exactly what it is that you are getting or do they just expect the money back within certain dedlines, whilst paying interest.

GSR, sorry for somewhat jacking your thread, but i didn't want to make another one on getting a loan when we could kill 2 birds with one stone here.

It's not called a personal loan for nothing, what you spend your money on is personal. As long as you pay them back, they couldn't care less.

No problem 300, I am sure that I have the same questions. So, ask away.

Ok, well when you did that did the bank mae you get full coverage on the car or did they not care about that. Thats my major concern, becuase I don't want to be paying a high insurance bill plus payments

Re: How to start with a loan?

I think that if they give you money to buy the actual car, you need to get full coverage, but if it's for parts, then you don't need full coverage.
