2002...I want keyless entry!!

Hi there. New guy here. Thanks for all the info you guys provide.

I just got a 2002 Grand am SE that was not equipped with keyless entry and I want it!! I have an older Crimestopper CS-845RKE unit that I bought for my old truck but never had the guts to try to wire it.

I have seen interface units but don't quite get how they work. Is there an easy way?

I have a brand new Receiver module W/2 Remotes I bought for my 2000 blazer. Unfortunalty it is for 2002 and up. I am told the hatch button on the remotes is the same for trunks on cars. This kit runs big $$$ and I will sell it cheap.
This is brand new GM. If you are interested let me know I can send you the P/N and images and more info

Sure. Send me some info and I will have a look and see if it will work. I am just a bit leary of some of the wiring, but you never know.
