air in breakline problems with abs?

Someone just told me that air in the breakline can cause problems in the anti-lock breaks causing them to engage and other problems. I was wondering how true this was.

Re: air in breakline problems with abs?

If the air is near the sensor, I imagine it could cause a false indication some of the time.

ANY air in your brake lines is bad; sounds like a good bleed of the system is in order.
