does the size of a muffler clip matter??

i just got a flowmaster put on my cavalier and it sounds cool i just wanted to know if a wider muffler clip would make it sound deeper?

also when i let off the gas i can hear a blumb bee sound is there antway to fix this?

muffler clips chrome tips that u put on the muffler or at the end of a tale pipe

u know those tips that ricers put on sock mufflers?
they sell them at any auto store there ,ostly for looks but can a big one make it sound deeper

If you put a flowmaster on then i wouldent mess with a tip. Unless you want it for looks. They really wont make any diff in sound. I like the sound of the flowmaster exhuast i think you should keep what you have.

i think it sounds good with out it but the muffles is to much under the car and the exjsut gets in the car

It wouldnt hurt anything by puting a tip on. Id look around and try to find one that doesnt look so corny. Its a hell of a lot better than breathing in exhuast fumes. How far back from the end of the bumper does the exhuast stop. Does it smell when you are driving or when you are setting still, or both. Good Luck!

i wouldnt worry about putting a tip on..a tip isnt going to change the sound of the car as long as you get a tip thats relatively close in size as the outlet of the flowmaster...so if your muffler has a 2 inch exit..get a 2 inch to 2 1/4 inch exit...sound will stay the same and youve got yourself a tip
