all bushings

I got a 91 GT and it has dry rotted bushings in the front under the engine, but not connected, they seem like they are in the middle of the suspension between the frame and steering. They look like 2 smashed, rubber washers on 2 bolts and 1 of the bolts doesn't seem to tighten. Does anyone know what these are called, I think they are bushings? Are there any other bushings I should replace and where are they located? Can I do it myself? Any help would be appreciated. thanks

Re: all bushings

They are called front or rear control arm bushings. I don't think you can replace the bushing without burning them out and then finding the correct size bushing to replace the ones you burnt out. I had to replaced the rear control arm bushing on my 90 gt-s and I had to buy all (4) control arms from toyota. ($126.00 ea) w/o labor. Becareful about rusted bolts because I had to replace the (2) long bolts on mine. I tried looking all over the place for these parts and no one seems to carry aftermarket control arms or bushings.
