Talking NUDE supermodel on hood of JGC

That would be nice... But since I've got your attention, I do have a quick question. Does anyone know what the correct idle speed for a JGC 95 automatic is suppossed to be? I replaced IAC and TPS and it seems to be idling lower, around 550 - 600rpm , than usual. ANy help would be greatly appreciated...

Interesting way to get our attention...
I have a '96 JGC that idles right around 700 or so. I wouldn't think there would be much difference between yours and mine.

robeson114, your idle speed seems to be right, anywhere around 600 is good.

Talking

Sorry about the deception... I fell for it a few times, just thought it would create a few smiles...
Maybe my idle seems lower than usual because its a little rougher. I probly just need to properly gap my plugs. I put some bosch plugs in it recently and didn't gap them, just put them in stock. would that cause much problem? The jeep drives down the road smooth as butter. Its when I stop and idle that causes problems. Well, thanks everyone for your input.

try cleaning the Throttle body or replace the IAC unit. Nothing beats champion plugs on Jeeps

I would think it would idle MUCH faster if you actually had a naked model on it.

As far as not gapping your plugs, you've probably already done it and found that things improved greatly.

check map sensor!!!and pcm!!!

check map sensor values, ive had the same problems, i also replaced my tps, iac, then come to find out the pcm and the map sensor was bad. im am now awaiting parts. it seems chrysler has a bad batch of map sensors mines on back order.. try to avoid buying these parts from places like autozone, advance auto, and stores like that. they are generic and yours may be vehicle specific. ive been thru 2 already and one pcm. pcm is pricey $490.00 i found a used one.

You don't gap bosch plugs!!!!! You will mess up the plug if you try, they come pre gaped.
