carefully rinsed margarine tubs, take out containers, and jam jars.

9. You own a rice cooker and a slow cooker

10. You wash your rice at least 2-3 times before cooking it.

11. You fight (literally) over who pays the dinner bill.

18. If you don't live at home, when your parents call, they'll ask if
you've eaten, even if it's midnight.

19. Your parents tell you to boil herbs and stay insidewhen you get
sick.

They also tell you not to eat fried foods or baked goods because they're

That isn't fair. Our family fulfils at least 1/2 that criteria. We have wok-cooked meals at least 3 nights a week - usually more. And I'm about as much chinese as Tannee is South African.

There were a few others that were close too - then again, when I was living in Penang the Chinese/Indian/Malay influence was really strong on us kids when we were growing up.

they're so true..even though I was raised in a western society but still my parents brought me up this way...but I do things eastern way usually with a bit of western taste especially when doign things to girls!..cause admit it asian guys!...western ppl are much more romantic and sweet!
