Question What Cars Will My Camaro V8 305 Fit Into??

I wrecked my camaro and now i am either looking for another camaro body or a body of another car that the engine will still fit into. Im pretty sure a firebird will work and most of the camaro RS's. If anyone has any idea and could give me a list of there ideas it would be greatly appreciated.

Brandon

Cram that bitch into a Mini - not one of the new ones either, or a Spectrum, Yugo, Festiva or Fiat, and leave everything else bone stock.

Beauty, you'd get a lot of pink slips with that combo!

hell yeah, and it'd be so easy as hell too, no ECM to mess with, motor is totally old school, and on the other side of the garage is the 700r4 to back it up. I've heard hte rear end on thos things can actually take some pwoer too?

I'd laugh my ass off! Paint it all oldschool... black with flames and moon hub caps, get the little flame thrower for the exhaust. Have to go with a roll cage though and maybe some meatier tires... might blow your cover.

You could call it "sudden death" or put it in the license plate "sdn dth"

actually to tie two topics together I'll go with the recipe for destruction there and drive it to protests about elevating fuel prices and tell 'em hey, I drive a commuter car, slightly altered econobox.

oh, already named the "evil T" as it's really a pontiac t1000

Yes no mods

I dont want any modifications im just wondering what cars i could just slip the engine into and it would just fit right up. I dont wanna mess with a bunch of things to get it to fit. But what cars or bodies could i get that the 305 would just fit into.

Well, i'm pretty sure you get just get it into most of the GM cars and trucks from the 80's to the early 90's. If you pick another maro or firebird, why not just get one with a 350? If you have bolt on mods done to the 305, they will just bolt right up to the 350. I have a 305tpi and i love it to death, but after a while, whatevery one else said was right, it's a boat ancher. So much more potential with the 350. The 305 is a good motor, "just weak in the knees". (Quote from 89iroc)

Re: What Cars Will My Camaro V8 305 Fit Into??

oh sorry, got a little off topic there. 305 will mount up with just about any car/truck that had 302, 305, 307 350. Most small block GM mounts are interchangable. The trick is, what car will accept the motor for the engine mgmt. system?
