Gas Prices (Serious Post)

Just saw a video clip on MSN (bunch of total import driving liberal freaks) where some guy was saying we shoud use taxes to push the price of gas up to $5.00 to eliminate the deficit and help social security, etc.

What I would like to know, is why is that prick breathing my air? I hope this is not like a serious issue, raising gas prices any further, because I will personally start a civil war. I hope they have a "Let's raise gas prices and drive Hybrids" protest... I'll wind up old Red Death to about 6500 rpm's and plow right through the bastards.

ROFLOL!!! That last comment is amd funny!! I totally agree with you on that one though. That guy should get taking out by a barrage of camaros running him over one after another. My car already gets real bad gas mileage as it is and it's really hurting me, and that's at 2.30 a gallon. If it were 5 a gallon i don't know what would happen, i have to start stealing gas from the gas station, stick it up and tell him i want 50 on pump 3.

and fuck them yuppys with their hybrids, even tho all the old folks now are taking all us young 'ens social security for the future. im just going to have to be filthy, FILTHY rich because my taste for cars is too expensive and i dont want to have to rely on social security down the road.

If they do that... I'm not gonna have enough money to pay my OTHER taxes: income tax (fed, state, and local) real estate taxes, etc.

Someone needs to eliminate these people from the pool of people who actually make a difference. I'd elect my self as a duly elected "dip-shit removal engineer" but I'm afraid that shit's like contagious. I'd love to see his ass get plowed by a juiced out stang with neon lights on it going about 160 (hate to see a Maro with neon on it) as he gets out of his pink hybrid to go one of them fag-assed restaurants to eat a "boca-burger". Justice served.

I think hybrids are a good idea to help save on gas but what the hell do these people plan to do with all these massive SUVs that everyones been buying up for the past decade? Im not getting rid of my 4x4 SUV, and im sure as hell not giving up my camaro. You can bet on it that something big will happen if they try to pull something like that.

I dont know how it is in the US, but here in Canada, gas prices are made up of over 40% taxes alone.

I had a 97 Z71 that had a 35 gallon tank, and went through 1.5 tanks a week. I'd kill myself If I had to support that bastard now.

At least most modern vehicles are getting around 15 mpg or so.

If you dropped the taxes out of gasoline you be shocked shitless how cheap it was.

I'd like to see them make a fucking hybrid truck or van or even a minivan for that matter, that didn't take a complete shit when you had 600 - 1000 pounds worth of people and gear in it. 0-60 in like 4 months, The damn thing would break in half. If they have to make twice as many hybrids to transport the same amount of people what in the hell have they gained?

this man earlsfat is very angry at these gas sipping pansies that want to bash our gas guzzling monsters, you know what i say "fug em". when we run out of gas, there will be ethanol, engines will be converted, everything will be fine. there is tons and tons of raw oil or crude oil whatever under the ocean floor. we just dont have the technology to drill for it yet because its like 100 miles underwater.

could be worse, hey $2.29 here for premium and i am complaining but in europe those uppy basterds are paying $8-10 for a gallon. I couldnt imagine $5 a gallon let alone 10.

Actually its 4-10$ per QUART [ For you un-math people 4 quarts = 1 gallon so thats between 16-40$ a GALLON ]

Its slowly going down its about 2.50 for me.
