Little Help Please: Electrical problem
I was coming back from a long trip yesterday and the Tahoe ('01 LT) wouldn't crank. Turns out it was a very corroded cable connection. The post was so corroded, I couldn't get it disconnected, so we jumped it and drove home.
On the trip, after roughly 8 hours of driving, the front speakers dropped out briefly. First, the right quit for a minute or two and then the left for a minute. Once home, I managed to get the battery out and cleaned up the connection. After I replaced the post, the windsheild wipers wouldn't work. I replaced the fuse and the wipers were fine.....until I tried the washer. That blew the fuse...not once, but twice. I've obviously got some sort of short somewhere. I'm assuming under the dash. Any idea where to start? TIA |
