need stereo help

Does any one know where to find the amp. in a 94 ford explorer. I lost all sound in my vehicle. I checked and I still have a signal coming from my stereo but no sound out of my speakers. I think it is an amplifier problem but i dont want to tear my whole truck apart to find it.

Re: need stereo help

take your door panel off check the speaker and the connection, then if it is like my 97 you should have a molding different from your dash around the controls and the heater and stereo, there are two bolts just above the heater controls that takes the molding and your stereo just comes right out.
