Question Kennedy's #038 finally sold to Alfredo Brener??

That's what one is led to believe by reading this thread on FerrariChat:

http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/sho...t=57762&page=1

#038 showed up at a car show in Texas called "Keels & Wheels". I thought it was a bit strange to find his F1 so far from home when I first saw the pics. Then I found the story on Fchat, so I figured I would share.

A couple of things that add to the credibility here:
  • Several years ago I know that Brener displayed his XJ220 at that same show.
  • Brener had previous aspirations of owning an F1, as he made the original attempt to import Mr Selldorff's #068.

I wouldn't call this info 100% at this point, but it certainly has the potential to be true.

Re: Kennedy's #038 finally sold to Alfredo Brener??

But remember that one exotic car show that Kennedy was interviewed in, they had like a 7 minute section on the F1, the video was posted on the forums. He talks about how the F1 is his favorite car, the greatest thing he's ever driven, how he loves it so much, etc. He put so much effort into making it his, I wonder what his motivation would be for selling it?

It surprises me as well, but at this point I am inclined to believe it is true.

We'll see...
