Replacement of the steering wheel buttons
I have a '02 TB and I need to replace all the buttons on my steering wheel. They are starting to peel off. I have a few questions that I wanted to see if this fourm could answer for me..
1. Where can I get the replacement buttons? Anywhere online? Or just from the dealer? 2. How expensive are those going to be? 3. How hard is it to replace them? Is it something I could do myself? |

What steering wheel do you have? Ebony / Oak , and is it leather wrapped or not? If you know the option code that would help to get the right part number.
They should be available from a dealer. They list around $25 to $40 each but you may be able to work a deal for less from the dealer. |

I suppose it's ebony, it's not oak and it's leather wrapped. Is replacing those buttons easy? If so, could someone post some instructions?

Replacing the steering wheel switch involves removing the steering wheel. This involves special tools, disabling and temporarily removing the inflatable restraint. This is operation should be performed by a dealer, preferably, or a trained technician.
