Throttle Body Spacer Question (Mr. Northface help)

Hey, I have a question about that throttle body spacer. I have a custom chrome intake where there is a rubber boot/gasket that C clamps to my throttle body, I still be able to have both? I'll try to post a picture of my current setup, as soon as I figure out how to.

As far as I know...it should work. For mine, the spacer moved the throttle body towards the fan & therefore I had to cut down the orange elbow that attaches to the throttle body. I must have cut off about a good 1/2-3/4" of material. I almost cut off too much.....Oops!
I know have only 1/4" of clearance from the fan to the orange elbow.
You can see the clearance that I had before I installed it. See the silver clamp that attaches to the throttle body.....that is the one that I had to cut down. The part that is closest to the fan.....now is really close. I will get around to taking more pictures of the "after" to give you all a better clue as to what to expect.

As far as I have read though.....it says that you can't use an Airaid spacer with a K&N air intake. Probably has the same issues as mine did.
They probably don't want you to have to cut down anything....but oh well :-D

I pulled this picture off of my gallery under the thread "Post Pics of your TrailBlazer"
I put the arrow on the picture & right clicked & selected "copy"

I then right clicked on the thread & clicked "paste"

Funny thing about it.....this was the 1st time I ever tried it & it worked.

By the way...sweet lQQking ride!

I would love to put a brush guard on the front of mine, but what color do I do? Black wouldn't look right & neither would chrome. The garage where I am at now wouldn't allow me to have one anyway....my ride barely fits in there now.

New garage will be 35+' deep :-D
No more problems with running out of room!

So maybe there is hope in the future of getting something.
