1991 Laser,rough idle

My 1991 LaserRS idles rough, I have had the timing chain replaced,
tune up, new injector jets.....still idles very rough, rough driving, mechanic said it is tuned to spec.
What is the problem..appreciate some help, I live in Albuquerque, NM
area, is there a someone who can suggest a repair shop in that area?

You could always try running seafoam through it.

It surges when idling, upon accelarration not as much power as bfore,
the whole car vibrates.

first of all, our cars have timing belts, not timing chains and they have to be set perfectly otherwise timing will be off. this could be the base of your problem. who did your timing belt? what all was changed? i can't stress enough how perfect the timing on these cars has to be for them to run just right.
