325is Questions. Thinking of Buying!

Hello All!

I am from the DSM Forums, but I am looking at selling my car and buying a 1994-1996 BMW 325is.

I am just wondering what you people think of it, or what kind of common problems there are or even what kind of things I should look for when buying. What kind of common repairs are there that are out of the ordinary. As much info as possible would be appreciated!!

Cheers!
~Alex

What year is yours that you could find it for $3500 fully loaded? I am looking at a 1994 with a few upgrades with 98000kms for 17000 CAD.

Man, that is pretty good. I guess these cars are more expensive in Canada, that really sucks. I might look into importing a car.

Does anyone know of any common issues with this car though? That would be great to know.

Re: 325is Questions. Thinking of Buying!

since you are looking at an E36, this thread may be of use to you:

http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=396102

the best compilation i have ever found of issues was in Bimmer magazines E36 buyers guide.

http://bimmer-mag.com/back_issues.html

Issue #49, April 2005

Alternatively, I am sure there is one online somewhere, and I hope someone else has that link.

Re: 325is Questions. Thinking of Buying!

That thread kind of helped, obviously there are issues with the cars, like all cars but other than ordering a copy of that magazine does anyone know where I can take a look for common issues (i have heard there are a lot of electrical things) on these cars?

thanks
