Sorry to bug you guys, but...

i've made a couple of post and they have just been a combination of problems!
well here are the symptoms:
when im going 30-40 and i let off the gas all the way the RPMs drop to 500, and when i deaccelerate fast it drops to 250 and then dies sometimes!
also this morning i drove it a little while, the mph gauge, trip milage and total milage worked just fine!! then my car died turning a corner! then the MPH gauge, trip milage and the total milage didnt work anymore! well i took off my air box so i can look at the throttle body and it wasnt stuck closed but when it was starting, some smoke came out the intake! to me this sounds like a serious problem. could someone help me!
thanks!

Salt or sugar? If you have a fuel filter in place you should be fine. Fans on all the time is bad..pull codes from the computer, see what it says.
If you suspect someone put something in your tank, drop the tank, drain it and pull the sending unit, remove the pump. If the sock filter is still on the pump, get a new one and replace it. Clean out the inside of the tank real good. Put the sender/pump back in the tank and reinstall the tank and change the fuel filter.
Get a locking gas cap.

Nothing? As in not even code 12? If that is the case...get a new ECM.
Other things to check. Do you have spark? Pull a plug wire and stick an old plug in it and touch the tip to the engine while someone cranks it..is there a spark? Is it a nice bright blue/white? No spark, most likely an ignition module...weak looking spark, most likely a coil or very bad wires or cap/rotor.

Re: Sorry to bug you guys, but...

Call some mechanics see if you can replace the fuel pump & fuel filter and drain your tank to see if it will fix it and hopefully not damage your engine badly. Have you made any enemies lately? and file a police report!

With the fuel pump sock strainer and the fuel filter in place nothing had a chance to get to your engine. may want to replace the pump while you are at it, cost about $50.
contact your insurance co and the police.
