Thumbs up My first car is a 1994 Z28.. HELL YEAH!

i am so freaking happy right now! i found a 1993 camaro z28 for sale in the paper about a week ago. and i ended up paying $2200 for it today. it was advertised wrong and i found out via carfax that the vin# says its a '94, so ill guess thats the correct year. so hooray its got MAF and not speed density like originally thought! it is an A4 and bone stock. only problems are the power door locks are picky as to when they work so i gotta use SO MUCH effort to reach over and do it manually(ha). also the driver side seat is slightly ripped, but ill just buy some bow-tie emblem walmart covers. lol. the paint is slightly faded on the passenger door under the window but its still a camaro and i love it the only real bad thing is it has 191,XXX miles, but it has never missed an oil change and has no leaks whatsoever. i plan on keeping it nearly stock, if anything just exhaust and intake. and computer tune of course. i'd like firmer shifts lol. i have a day off work tomorrow, so after church i reckon ill be testing out my mr clean autodry to get it squeeky clean and armorall the interior and go over everything to get it clean as possible. the driver side power seat is awesome, its like a dentist chair. my mom and dad are pissed, neither of their cars(2002 voyager and i think 1995 f-150 6-cyl respectively) have power anything, cd player, or go vroom vroom without sounding stupid.

cliffnotes:
-i got a 94 Z28 for $2200 with high miles being the only negative, yet no leaks or anything
-parents are jealous of it
-im now a chevy fan for life

its going to be torture waiting 'til the 31st to get my liscense!

Right on man, good choice. Especially since it's gotten tune up's and oil changes....
Tell me how that Mr. clean stuff works. I have that in my garage but kinda afraid to use it.

thanks for the replies! i think that your first real performance car has a big effect on if you are a ford or chevy fan. today i just got some walmart seat covers(lol, but hey im happy with them) and washed it/cleaned it out from like 4:00 to i think 7:00 or 7:30. 8:30 if you count me walking outside to put another coat of tire shine i want to get it registered soon so i can drive it. it has about 1/8 of a tank of gas left, today when i had the cd player on, i didnt realize that the ac was as well... running the gas down. ah well. i have a camaro! life is good!

bag91 - the autodry stuff worked great! my only problem i encountered was that it takes a little while to dry(i'd say 20-25 minutes?) and because of that a couple stupid bugs and real small flower petals blew and stuck to my door wasn't a big problem, i just CAREFULLY grabbed them with my fingernails before it dried completely. no evidence of them. i'd recommend you try it at least once. make sure when you go to use the mitt, put soapy water on the mitt as well as the car. it gives that as a hint in the manual, it does help.

Wal*Mart seat covers arent really to be made fun of, they're just seat covers and basicly all seat covers are the same, I got my seat covers for my Monte Carlo there, not that it needed it but it says Chevrolet on the upper part of the seat so hey, had to buy it.

Take of her man!! She does have a lot miles on her, but she was well taken care of perhaps. I wish i had a trailer to take my car to the track, by time i get by driving the damn thing would be to tired!!! I did get the o2 sensor so that problem should be corrected when i get a chance to put it on.
