2 Piston Calipers?

I am replacing my warped stock rotors with Brembo cross drilled OEM rotors on my 99 LS. I need to also replace sticking calipers as well. I would like to replace the calipers with an upgraded pair. Every where I look the calipers are single piston. Do they make two piston calipers to fit OEM rotors under a 15 inch rim? I am replacing all four rotors but only the front calipers for now. Anyone know where I can find two piston calipers that will fit my 99 LS?

Re: 2 Piston Calipers?

Why would you want 2 piston calipers? The stock floating 1 piston calipers are great and are more than what the average driver will need if you put on cross drilled and/or slotted rotors. Do they even make 2 piston....if so...how???? Are they floating or is one piston across from the other?

Does honda make 2 piston calipers? Yes. They are found on 94-95 Acura Legend GS, they have a 23T stamped on them, make sure they are dual piston type. Also the NSX calipers i believe its 91-94 are dual piston also.
Also you could consider upgrading to a larger single piston caliper. Single Piston 23T calipers came on 96+ Acura TL's, 92-01 Prelude Vtec, only; Integra Type R, older NSX's; Acura Legends, (~~`91+).

2piston calipers go for at least $150 on ebay, or you could get lucky like me and find them at the junkyard for $30 bucks.
The Single piston ones usually go for @$50-80bucks!

The 23Ts will bolt right up to DC teg hubs, and are a HUGE upgrade from stock. I have the same setup BTW! If you need a set of 23T calipers(single) I have a working set if your interested.
