Has anyone heard anything about the new Bentley Speed 8? It will be racing in the 24 Hours of Daytona this weekend, and I haven't heard much.

Well, i am none as a bentley worshipper (hence my Sn as Bentley Racer on AIM), but this is all news. The first true race is the next one, Daytona, and I think Bentley will be in top 5.

Only race for Bentley this year is Le Mans. Wait till 2002 when they'll have a full program. They got solid driver lineup for Le Mans though, lets hope the team will be as good.....

Who needs high top speed at Le Mans any more, Acceleration out of the Chicanes is what matters....

Well right now the program is developing the engine and chassis for the Bentley, but subsequentily its using an Audi R8 chassi and engine for Lemans.

Its only using the R8 engine, everything else is unique. I think it will do well at LeMans, and it looks awesome.
Is this a harbinger of new super-bentleys to come?? Lets hope so
