Ever since I had a major exhaust leak last year on my 90 Corolla the pipe separated from the resonator I removed the entire system from the cat to the muffler and replaced it.
Everything was fine except about 2 weeks later a ticking sound arose when I shut of my engine.
I understand some cars have a light ticking that you can hear when you listen under the car but this ticking is LOUD I can hear it feet away from the car

. Someone actually told me in a parking lot that I left my blinker on

.
Recently I put my ear under there and its definatly coming from the exhaust system and I think in specific its coming from the big hump in the pipe after the cat which I assume is the resonator.
Is this the result of a cheap exhaust system or is the exhaust hanger that wraps around the bottom of the resonator causing this?
