Angry Keyless Remote Programming

Doea anyone have the programming instructions to program a keyless remote for a 2002 Jeep Liberty without an original remote. I have tried several sources but they all have a step that involves using an origianal programmed remote to inter the programming sequences. My problem, no origianl remote. Is there any way to program a new one without an old one.

Thanks for you help.

Re: Keyless Remote Programming

Well I have an add on question (I have a 2003 Liberty)

I bought another remote on eBay as a backup in case my remote gets lost and I followed the programming instructions to a tee and they WORKED

BUT - the original remote wouldn't work anymore then I did it again and then the new remote wouldn't work I thought that I could have 2 remotes work at the same time as the manual states that my car shipped with 2 remotes to the dealer although I only got 1

Please help so I have a backup
