vacuum sound from rear end

1987 cv lx vacuum sound coming from under the car near the rear end or gas tank does the fuel pump make this noise or do i have some kind of a leak.i dont think i have the stabilizer on my car.need some info on what it could be.

I believe what you are hearing is the fuel pump.
