a/c problem

My 97 Grand Caravan rear air only blows hot air. The air will only blow from the lower vents. Can't get it to switch to the upper vents. The front air works fine. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Mark

Re: a/c problem

You need to check the rear heat-A/C assembly. It should be located in the left or right side rear quarter panel. There is a small plastic door which controls the hot or cold air flow from the blower motor. It is operated by a vacuum line. Check for vacuum leak or damage to the door. I believe you need to remove the panel to gain excess to the unit.
