Oil Pressure..

When at idel my oil pressure gauage jumps back and forth.. What could be causing this?

bad sending unit, new one is 15 bux..

Through research, I also found that overfilling your oil can cause the crank to slap the oil in the crankcase too much causing air to get into the oil system which will cause the flicker.

I had the flicker myself until I ONLY added 4.5qts which is the amount of oil you add with an oil and filter change.

Since then, no more flicker.
