Changing Gears
My transmission doesn't change gears until bout 3,000 RPM.. Does this sound right?
I have already checked the fluid and it's fine... |

Re: Changing Gears
If you are accelerating normally from a stop, it should change between 2500 and 3000rpms.
It all depends on the amount of throttle used.

Re: Changing Gears
Is it sluggish off of the line, MSimp's? Can you tell any shifting is occuring at all?

Re: Changing Gears
I checked mine out on the way to work today. Under "normal" throttle I shift in the low to mid 2k's and under heavier acceleration it's closer to 3k.
