TransAm

soo... i bought that firebird.. dunno if anyof u rember i was asking about the crack in the ttops..

my goal is too make the cowl.. functioning.. and my dream goal is too put twin turbos on it with a throttle body.. maybe its too far in dream but i think its posiible.. lemme no what u think.. or how u would go about it i need help on this part.. iw as thinking to find two 4cyl cars turbo and use on for each bank.. but i dont no too much theory on a turbo system..

what it has:
rebuilt 305 4bbl carburated
4 speed standard (t1o tranny)
10bolt factory posi
black on black interior and ext
ttops

soo i had a horrible rod knoccking sound that turned out to be a completely annilated rod bareing that spun.. so i pulled the motor rebuilt her bottum end and put her backj togerther and i got her running with a week of purchise.. which is good for me.. knowing i dont have alot of experience being 16.. the body just need sum small touch up.. and to be washed.. interior needs to be worked on alot.. but i new that from the begining.. i love working on cars so its a good challenge..
any way ill show u all sum picktures.. fpr those who care i suppose
When the car arrived at my house

Ouch! on the interior.. but the parts are easy to find

I wash it and did sum temporary touch up paint to look half decent

rather annoying dent in the pass. fender

Re: TransAm

Well, it has alot of potentional. I would scrap the 4 cyc turbo idea and head in a the direction of alot of cubes such as a stroked 350 to like 383 but thats just me. I think with some paint some elbow grease. It could be one bad ass car. Good luck with her.

Re: TransAm

also i have the ground effecrts from the front of the door all the way to the back, plus the rear bumper to match, all youd need the would be the two front ground effects and the gta nose to fill it out, if youre intrested, and have a ram air hood
that Id trade for that one if you might be interested

Interior is easy...ebay and aftermarket catalogs have it all. Hell, I have spare 3rd gen Trans-Am interior parts laying around. The engine is the important part...

Thumbs up

yea i agree on the easiness of the interior.. im thinking pof converting it to vinyl.. i just love the look of it when its black.. id go leather but i cant afford it.. i dont no if i mentioned it but im gonna get the pictures of the rebuilt motor when i get to school on tuesday..

about the turbo idea.. my whole thot basis was i want somthing that no one else has. that looks and sounds awesome and has that wine and kick down when u let off the throttle.. correct me if im worng on that..
im definitly not against big engines . . . but i wanna do sumthing different.. that will make everyone else aww at it..

whatt does the front kit look like.. my friend donw the street has the sides and... front or back?? i,m not sure its like 2 pieces that are square
like 1foot and a 1/2 then they have the sides.. its like it wraps under the front or back but im not sure?

is there any online catalogues yu could link me too
