Stereo Wiring Question
Howdy,
93 S10 Blazer, 4 door/4wd, digital dash. Dropping an Alpine stereo in, got the aftermarket harness adapter, but, want to make sure they have all the pinouts correct before soldering everything together. So, my question is this: Is there a quick place to find the stereo harness diagram for this truck to make sure I don't need to rearrange some wires. Any help would be appreciated (even if it's a hey stupid, it's in the manual!). Thanks |

Re: Stereo Wiring Question
The wires were labeled on my 97. It should work dude. if you want pinch them together w/ electrical tape, not too twist the wires causing resistance. and test them out i would do that. otherwise the worst that could happen is you have to d sodder the wires which if you have some sodder spounge material it will go quick.

Wrapping the wires does not add resistence. Don't know where you got that one from.

Re: Stereo Wiring Question
Heh I think he was referring for testing (at least I hope so<g>) I got 'em all soldered/heat shrinked, stereo works friggin great at long last. Thanks for the input guys.
Now...off to save up for amps/speakers (does the cycle ever end?<g>) |
