'91 passat - passenger electric window problems

91 passat. When I unlock the drivers door or if the car is unlocked, when I open the drivers door, the passenger electric window rolls down. Sometimes it will go up when you start the car and push the electric openers. Other times, the windows won't work at all. We've had the doors apart, dashboard apart....HELP.

Boschmann...thanks for the reply. I went through the wiring harness on both doors. Everything looks great. The problem occurs when a person touches the door to open or unlock...the front passenger window rolls down. Most times we can roll up back up once the car has been started but occasionally the power cuts to all windows and we can't raise the lowered passenger window, nor can we open the rest of them. Any thoughts???
