Torque Specs

N E 1 know the torque specs for the cv shaft to hub for a 88 Regal? 2.8L
is 150 ft/lbs too much or is it 180? (Big center nut on hub)

My Chiltons manual said 184 ft lbs

Vondollo,
Do you have a torque wrench that can measure over 100 ft-lbs.?
I use a 1/2" breaker bar and I stand on it and bounce a few times.
This seems to the trick everytime. I've been doing this for just over twenty years now.
