93 del sol clutch problem?

well i have a 93 del sol si which we all know is Z6....well i was driving to one of my buddies house and the clutch pedal was fine then when i got ready to leave and started it up and the clutch pedal was still the same but it engaged like even if you moved it just alittle bit like half an inch...but before that it released at the top now its hard to put into gear with the clutch in.Does that mean my clutch is going out it shakes also when you down shift into 2nd gear...any help would be great thanks.

sounds like a master or slave cylinder problem to me...but if it was engaginging at the top before, then your clutch doesn't have much life left anyhow.

I already replaced the slave cylinder, it didnt change anything. The car has 180000 miles on it so i am thinkin the clutch is goin.

I had the same problem, I replaced the master cylinder and all is chill, but my clutch is going as well, I am upgrading in a week, and boosting in two .
