Oil Light coming on

The last couple days when I hit a turn hard, the oil light comes on. I checked the oil level and its fine. I havent had this problem before. Just very recently. Could the sensor be bad? All the connections are good.

Double check your oil and the connector to the sender.

Mine would always do this towards the time of a needed oil change, and I had been burning just enough oil to lower the level.

I checked the oil again, when the engine cooled down, and it turns out I did need a little oil. Dont know why, its not leaking, and I did an oil change about 1000 miles ago.

Just in case... did you change the oil... run engine... let it sit for a few minutes... check oil level again?
The filters on eclipses aren't the biggest but when you fill up with new oil and change filter there isn't any oil in filter... when you check it it might look good.... after you run engine the filter gets oil dropping oil level a bit.... just a suggestion as for why it might go down....
Could you possibly be burning oil? try a compression test... never hurts

When i changed the oil a while back, i did do all of the above. i checked after running the engine for a day. I filled it up with a little less than a quart, and its fine. I did a little racing yesterday, and the oil was fine this morning. Same level. I dont think im burning, but i might do a compression test tonight when i install my exhaust. Thanks

My car does this when I take a hard turn also. Just add a little bit of oil until it stops throwing on the light. Its not a big deal unless you are actually burning oil.
