So i got pneumothorax..

A few days ago. 2 days ago. Well, not really, i think it was 6 days ago. Anybody who knows whats that without google gets a cookie. I was hospitalised for 4 days, i got an extremely bad back-pain on thursday morning. I just thought it was because i was sitting down for too long or something like that, but i went to the doctor that evening anyway, just to check. The doctor said it could just be a little muscle ache, but it could also be pneumothorax. So i got sent to the hospital, and an x-ray confirmed what i had. I had to lie in bed for 4 days, with a tube up my nose. i didnt have to have a tube stuck into my chest, because its a small one. But the chances of it coming back is quite high. So yeah.

woah dude! I'm sorry to hear that. I've heard of it before but I did'nt know all the details. I know what its like to lie in the hospital, not a fun place, but it's worth it. Did you get the red jello? Cause that ones the best! I hope all works out!

Maybe we should put the Department of Agriculture in charge of immigration.

Yeah sorry to hear it. I was stuck in the hospital with gut pains last year. I was stuck in the ER for like 8 hours. I couldn't eat(the hardest part) drink, piss or poop at all. Then I had to go in for a catscan/mri and they forgot to take my glasses off. Needless to say hospitals suck. I wasnt even allowed to homework or read motor trend. I hope you stay well.

Re: So i got pneumothorax..

I know what it is! Its a lung collapse due to a tear in the lung that leaks air to the space outside of the lung. Wheres my freakin cookie! (im a student of medicine)

Do you smoke or work in a place where there are harsh things being inhaled? If so then getting rid of those problems will reduce the chance of it happening again. Lungs are good at healing themselves if your nice to them.
