Help....Fast Please!!!!
Can someone please tell me if the you have to use a different size serpentine belt on a 1996 cavalier 2.2L if you bypass the AC Compressor pulley. The diagram shows that you can reroute it past the compressor and I thought you used the same size belt. The mechanic is saying different. Please help.

Ummm...ya If you are completely bypassing a whole pulley, or course the belt will need to be smaller.
