Water in the egr valve!

For awhile a have had a problem with code 32 always showing up on my 94 rs cav. I replaced egr valve with a junk yard one, for awhhile ran fine ( it was questionable to begin with ). i broke down and brought a new one $60! lo and behold though when i took the old one off there was clear water in where the pintle valve gos in the block... its not anti freeze, not oil, just plain water! I also see quite a bit of water coming out of the muffler... Is this just condensation?

Are you sure it is water coming out of the muffler or raw fuel?

Re: Water in the egr valve!

Is that a serious question? You are messing with me right!

Re: Water in the egr valve!

Rain or water splashing when your are driving is probably getting in through a crack in your air system somewhere.
