Re: New guy

97grandamld9,

Looks great, I have a 96 GAGT, with the 2.4L quad and a 5 speed manual trans. I love my car it is a blast to drive and mine looks pretty clean too I have just started to dress up the engine compartment as well although I do have a little to do yet. If you don't mind please send me sone of your tips on getting is so clean. I used to detail cars for a Pontiac dealer in my area which also included the engine compartment so I have not let mine get all that bad. I am going to get some before and after shots and post them when she is all cleaned and dressed but I'm always open to any helpfull tips.

How many miles on your baby? I have 115,000 on mine, and she's running great.

Thanks in advance,
Dan

Re: New guy

i have somewhere around 110,000 miles on the car. Basicly go out and buy some engine degreaser. clean up the engine bay, wash it with soapy water, scrup it, and spray it with the hose (obviously dont use a ton of water, and dont spray it into the alternator and other areas that the water will damage) Then once i did all that stuff, i painted parts with engine enamel that i got from walmart.
