canadian and american civic swaps
is an american 90 civic si and a canadian civic si the same, and if so would a b16a swap be compatible in the same way, if not what are the differences when doing the swap

CDM motors are different! Mine uses maple syrup instead of oil.

LOL. maple syrup. thats a pretty good one. engines are designed for much colder weather in canada. not sure what all internally is different but they do run a differ oil than we are used to in the states.

i apologize, i should have been more sprecific. are the wiring harnesses the same for both cdm and usdm civics,for example i have a cdm civic si but i am following usdm guidelines for the b16 swap

pretty sure they are the same, i dont see any reason why they wouldnt be. my 90 civic si was manufactored in canada and my 90 crx si in Japan and both swaps were the same.
