is an american 90 civic si and a canadian civic si the same, and if so would a b16a swap be compatible in the same way, if not what are the differences when doing the swap

LOL. maple syrup. thats a pretty good one. engines are designed for much colder weather in canada. not sure what all internally is different but they do run a differ oil than we are used to in the states.

Re: canadian and american civic swaps

pretty sure they are the same, i dont see any reason why they wouldnt be. my 90 civic si was manufactored in canada and my 90 crx si in Japan and both swaps were the same.
