montero 2000 blower

i have a montero 2000 sport, i know diddly squat about cars, but i have to try and make my own rapairs because most mechanist wanna become millionairs over night. among other problems, sometimes the blower (for air and heat) does not work. you hear absolutley nothin, other times it works just fine. i don't even know where to start and check this problem, if someone could a least tell me where the fuse box that control the blower is, i could then check to see if the fuse is loose, or maybe where the wire to the motor that runs the blower is connected. thanks!!
