anybody who owns a greddy evo exhaust ,opinions.

i am planning on purchasing a greddy evo cat back and i am hearing a lot of mixed reviews. that it sounds ricey at high rpm's and that it rusts real quick. i am looking to put it on my 00 civic ex. if you have one on your civic then can you give me a little review. i trust more people on here then on some websites. give some deatil with sound, ground clearence etc. thanks.:smoka:

I sure as hell wouldn't get anything Greddy that goes on the ass of my car... they suck ass on the dyno. But they look decent I guess, not really my style, but they look okay. Depends if you want performance or looks. And yes, they sound a little garggly at top-end. Just get an Apex WS or 5-Zigen Fireball.

The apexi worldsport is the perfect sounding exhaust. when you cruise, hardly any sound at all. When you gun it, a NICE low sound (because the muffler is really big). The fireball gets pretty loud all the time, (because the muffler is so small)

I have an old Greddy Power Extreme exhaust which the Greddy EVO has been based on. They have the same flow characteristics but, Greddy moved the muffler canister up to correct for clearance problems w/ lowered cars. My exhaust sounds sweet w/ its deep low toned rumble at idle as well as its" non-droning" roar at high revs.
I think you'll like it, rendog.

mine is way too loud. it was cool for the first few months, then it just got old. I would be cruising normally, and I could barelly hear my radio. I took that one off and I am actually in the process of shining it up and trying to sell it. I got a new exhaust about a week ago.

The apexi ws has a nice sound at low rpm's and at high rpm's it doesn't kill your ears...
